W.L. Jorden & Co., Inc. was begun in 1972 by William (Bill) L. Jorden, PE.  Bill offered Civil Engineering services to public and private clients. In 1976, Bill partnered with John Roeser, PE & RLS in order to offer Land Surveying services.

In 1999, W.L. Jorden & Co., Inc. was acquired by HDR Engineering, Inc., a national engineering firm offering Architectural, Civil Engineering and Landscape Architectural services. The Atlanta office was the only division that offered Land Surveying services. In July 2010, HDR Engineering, Inc. suspended the surveying department operations and dismissed all surveyors. Jaime F. Higgins, RLS at that time was the director of the survey department. With consent from HDR, Jaime began Vectors Technical Services, LLC and got permission to use the digital archives of the HDR Surveying Department. Jaime continued to perform surveying services for HDR and their surveying clients.

In March 2011, Jaime took a position with a Land Surveying firm in Austin, Texas and transferred ownership in Vectors Technical Services, LLC to three former W.L. Jorden & Co., Inc. registered land surveyors. They are Dan Mahan, Phil Curry and Larry Bollinger. These three surveyors offer all clients a full range of surveying services.

• Larry Bollinger's area of expertise lies in residential surveying services, construction layout and site/grading plans.

• Dan Mahan has extensive experience in D.O.T. surveying, utility surveying, commercial surveying, industrial surveying, and mapping services.

• Phil Curry was the head of the survey department at W.L. Jorden & Co., Inc. and HDR Engineering, Inc. from 1985 to 2010.
